What gets me is how the poem refuses to stay abstract: "there is a field. I'll meet you there" is such a plain, almost stubborn invitation, and it turns a mystical idea into an actual place with actual grass you could lie down in. The repetition of "Don't go back to sleep" works the same way for me, not as a scold but as a friend nudging you awake at dawn, and by the third time it lands like a hand on the shoulder. I keep thinking about "the world is too full to talk about," because that's the exact moment language runs out and the poem doesn't panic about it.
